Gotham Juniors Fall Session (Saturdays 9/6 - 10/4 | 9am - 11am | LeFrak)

Gotham Junior Roller Derby Fall Session: Join us for 5 sessions this fall at LeFrak, all ages and skill levels welcome.

Dates: 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4 (all Saturdays)
Time: 9am - 11am
Place: LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park
Ages: 7 - 17
Skill Level: All skill levels, but must be able to skate without holding onto something/someone
Cost: $200 for new skaters, $175 for returning skaters

All participants are required to have quad roller skates, a helmet, mouthguard, elbow pads, wrist guards, and knee pads. Due to our lack of a permanent space, we are unfortunately unable to offer skate and gear rentals at this time. Gotham @ Brooklyn FC (8/23 | 7pm | Maimonides Stadium)

Come support multiple women’s sports with Gotham as we cheer on Brooklyn FC in their season opener!

A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold using our ticket link will be donated to Gotham Roller Derby. Join us and bring your friends! We’ll be in Section 7.

Transfer Tryouts (8/6, 6:45 - 8:45pm & 8/11, 7 - 9pm)

Are you ready to join the hive mind?

Gotham is hosting transfer tryouts on August 6, 2025 from 6:45pm - 8:45pm (open travel team practice) and August 11, 2025 (league scrimmage) from 7pm - 9pm.

You do not have to attend both dates to tryout!

Please be ready to skate at those start times (bringing your own gear and all safety equipment is required); we suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early.

Tryouts for both dates will take place at Lehman College in the Apex Center (enter at Gate 8), 250 Bedford Park Blvd West, Bronx, NY 10468.

In order to tryout, you must do the following:

• Email transfers@ggrd.nyc with your intent to tryout and share which date(s) you will be attending

• Fill out and submit this form

• Email 1-2 letters of recommendation from your previous league to yetiornot@ggrd.nyc, killvalentine@ggrd.nyc, and francesa@ggrd.nyc

• Attend one or both tryout dates (8/6 from 6:45pm - 8:45pm and 8/11 from 7pm - 9pm)

Gotham Hang @ Grey Bar (July 26, 2025 | 5pm - 9pm)

Come hang out with Gotham Roller Derby! From 5pm - 9pm, we’ll be hanging out at Grey Bar in Manhattan (43 West 26th Street, between 6th Ave and Broadway, New York, NY 10010).

Come grab some food and drinks, watch some footage, and be a part of the community! A portion of the proceeds from drinks will be donated to Gotham. And if you’ve ever wanted to know more about Basic Training, officiating, or volunteering, there will be people on hand who can answer your questions.

You're Invited to the Gotham Cabaret! June 22, 2025 | 8pm

Join us way, way off the track for a night of glitter and glam as we swap our pads for pasties and our wheels for heels at the first ever Gotham Cabaret! Skaters, refs, and jeerleaders will make their drag and burlesque debuts, shaking their stuff to raise money for Gotham’s space search. Whoever said we wouldn’t do anything for the cause? Also featuring live music from special guests Refractory Period!

All proceeds and tips will go to Gotham Roller Derby in our search for a permanent home. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
